Memories Of Daddy, by Loretta Card Kongphila We as children went fishing a lot with our parents when my Dad wasn't fishing with a pole he was fishing with a trotline. He would do this in a cove and lines from the trotline were about a foot long, hooked and baited. We waited a few hours and go back along the lines to fish. We also jug fish, this was one of my favorite things to do with Daddy. When we finish a gallon of milk, we kept the jug, my Dad would tie the jug to the line and baited and throw it over and after two or three hours we would go along in the boat and take off the fish. Daddy would say he was going by the store and ask if we wanted to go and since we didn't get to go to many places, we jumped at the chance. True to his word he woud drive by the store without stopping. When we complained he would just laugh. When I would go to bed at night and he was playing the dobro, I would fall asleep to the tune of the dobro.
