Mr. Oscar Junior "J.C." Card June 23, 1927 - May 27, 2008 Mr. Oscar Junior “J.C.” Card of McDonough, GA passed away May 27, 2008. He was born in Shuqualak, MS the son of the late Ada Mae Prisock and Andrew Jackson Card. Mr. Card was a self employed carpenter for 30 years, he served his country in the US Navy, was a member of The Village Church, enjoyed hunting, fishing, wrestling and story telling. His wife, Margaret E. Lee Card preceded him in death. Survivors are his children, Susan Card Voyles (Lee) of McDonough, Loretta C. Kongphila (Houmpheng) of Jonesboro, and Jill Hazard (Peter) of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Jennifer Voyles, Holly , Shoshana, Dakota Kongphila, Hunter, Caitlyn Card, Jackee, Jeremy Hazard,and Michael Jr., Ashley, John Bearden; and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Card will be Friday, May 30, 2008 – 1:30 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Waters officiating. Interment will be at College Park Cemetery.
